Doctor Who Lalla Ward Cosplay Costume

Cosplay Miss Lalla Ward who was born as Sarah Ward on June 28, 1951. Her main role was to play the first Princess Astra in The Armageddon Factor and then the part of Romana. She was chosen to replace Mary Tamm in the part, after a guest appearance in another role in the Doctor Who story The Armageddon Factor in 1979. Lalla is the daughter of Edward Ward and Marjorie Alice Banks. She has a brother, Edward Nicholas Ward. She attended the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. The cute story of her name was when she was young and she had efforts to say her read name, hence, the stage name, Lalla brought about. She began her acting career in the Hammer horror film Vampire Circus. On 1970’s she played in the popular BBC drama series as Ophelia and was the second actress to play the Time Lady Romana.
